Our Mission

The mission of the Suisun City Juneteenth Celebration is to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and promote the economic, educational, and social advancement of the Black community. Our goal is to raise funds to support three key initiatives: Suisun City Youth Commission's Youth Projects, Economic Development Vendor Events through R.E.A.L Fairfield, and NAACP Youth Scholarships. We strive to provide a platform for Black businesses and micro-businesses to showcase and sell their products and services, fostering economic growth and entrepreneurship within the community. Additionally, we aim to empower and support the next generation of leaders by promoting and providing scholarships for youth pursuing higher education and supporting local youth-led projects that benefit the community. Through our efforts, we aim to build a more equitable and inclusive society, where all individuals have equal access to opportunities for success and advancement, regardless of their race or background.
